Warehouse and 3PL
FS Mackenzie International has been operating warehouse and 3PL services since the early 2000s. Over the years, we have formed a strong warehouse operations team, a list of established procedures and operations, and a reliable security system.
We take into account the specifics of each of the regions of our operations and each type of warehouse service.
Warehouse services in Russia and Ukraine:
We have a network of warehouses in various parts of Russia – in Moscow, Kiev, Odessa, St. Petersburg, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Vladivostok.
All warehouses are equipped with rack storage systems and can provide comprehensive services for the storage and handling of various types of cargo.
Our warehouse management system allows immediate access to up-to-date reports about all client cargo flowing through the warehouse.
Long term storage and cargo handling
We offer a comprehensive range of warehouse services, based on WMS and our trade experience, from storage to specialised procedures such as:
- Cargo labeling
- Pick & pack
- Wrapping with polyfilm
We have specialized equipment for packaging which provides supplementary protection for the goods and prevents damage during transportation.
This equipment makes it possible to prepare goods for the consignee’s stock (group packaging of several units).
Our modern Pick and Pack facilities allow us to pack and consolidate individual items into parcels, ready for despatch according to the customer's special requirements ("commissioning").
According to new requirements under Russian Law, we can carry out the full process of cargo labeling with special marks and furnish information to the ERP system of the client. This can be arranged for the following types of cargo for which labeling is mandatory in Russia:
- Fur products and coats
- Bed linen
- Shoes, textiles and leather
- Photo equipment
A modern video surveillance system with remote access allows the customer to monitor all processes that occur in the warehouse.
In contrast to groupage transportation, the cross-docking goods delivery procedure results in:
- a smaller number of transshipment operations
- eliminates errors during the delivery of consignments
- ensures that documents are returned more promptly and without any loss
In addition, the delivery times are shorter than for groupage delivery, and the flexible schedule allows us to adjust operations to the latest delivery terms of our customers, upon delivery to network stores.
In addition to hundreds of CFS warehouses in different countries of Asia, America and Europe, we operate CFS warehouses in the following locations in ex-USSR countries:
- St. Petersburg Sea Fish port, Russia
- Vladivostok Sea Trade port, Russia
- Vladivostok Sea Fish port, Russia
- Odessa Sea port, Ukraine
- Poti Sea port, Georgia
- Tbilisi city, Georgia
- Yerevan city, Armenia
- Baku city, Azerbaijan
Distribution in Russia
Well-established ties with the various types of consignees involved (e.g. federal and local network shops, Regional Centres) help us to avoid downtime during the delivery process of goods, which is especially important when delivering perishable food products.
Prompt return of shipping documents allows our customers to keep an updated account of the movement of all goods.
