Environmental & Waste Management

Shipping household and industrial waste (RDF and SRF) calls for special expertise.

We at FS Mackenzie are proud to support customers in the Recycling industry in their efforts to safeguard the environment and to work towards a cleaner and greener planet.

Regulation in this area is justifiably very strict and our expert personnel normally become involved in the earliest stages of planning, giving advice on routes and modes of transport. FS Mackenzie regularly assists in procuring the necessary transit permits and licences (TFS) for our customers.

FS Mackenzie assists from the earliest stages of transport planning.

This involves a detailed knowledge of the transport options most appropriate for the particular cargo, familiarity with the most economical route for the cargo in question to the destination, wherever in Europe or overseas that may be.

  • 20’/40’ or 45ft Containers, GP and limited Open Tops
  • Container shipment close to destination, transshipment and, if required, opening of bales and redelivery to the plant by local walking floor trailers.
  • Bulk tipping trailers
  • Conventional charter shipment
  • Standard delivery by tilt trailers

In addition, at customers’ request, we apply for waste carrier licences and assist with the application of the TFS (Transfrontier Shipment of Waste) document.
